This Privacy Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of use provided in our Legal Notice. Capitalised words in this Privacy Policy are defined in our Legal Notice.

Stay Put Properties are committed to protecting the privacy of our Users. The information we collect from you is only required by us and/or our Partners in order to provide you with the information you have requested. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not supply your Personal Information to any other person, unless you have expressly authorised us to do so.

By registering to use the Services and by using the Stay Put Properties Site generally you will be deemed to consent to our use of you Personal Information in the ways indicated.

Personal Information

Stay Put Properties will not pass on your Personal Information to any other person except when we believe the law requires or as set out in this Privacy Policy. To this end, National Homebuyers may pass your information to our Partners and agents authorised to act for and on behalf of Stay Put Properties.

2. To allow us to contact you for user service, if necessary.
3. To customise the content of our site to meet your specific needs.
4. To make product improvements to Stay Put Properties.
5. To keep you informed of new features and products available from Stay Put Properties and/or our Partners.

General Information

In general we gather data on all of our Users collectively, such as what areas and services Users visit most frequently. We only use such data in the aggregate. We may record and share non personal aggregated data with our Partners in order to determine what is most beneficial to our Users, and how we can continually improve the Stay Put Properties User experience.

Co-Branded Pages

Any information that you enter on a co-branded page may become property of both Stay Put Properties and the co-branded Partner. In that instance, Stay Put Properties is not responsible for any of the information received by our Partner. In some instances Personal Information may be passed from National Homebuyers to our Partners in order to automatically pre-fill fields on their websites. While we make all efforts to protect your privacy when negotiating our Partnerships, we are not responsible for their use of Personal Information. To that end, we encourage you to read our Partners' privacy statements, or request them directly from our Partners in the event they are not readily available.

Feedback

Please submit any feedback to Stay Put Properties. Feedback is used primarily for internal purposes to aid us in improving the site. Any feedback submitted becomes property of Stay Put Properties. We may use this feedback, such as success stories, for marketing purposes, or to contact you for further feedback on the site. We will seek your written or electronic approval should we want to use your personal success story for marketing purposes.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computers hard drive. Stay Put Properties use cookies in several ways. We use cookies to allow you to log in, to keep track of your preferences and for us to track usage of the site. IP Addresses

Stay Put Properties may collect IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers and for system administration. Stay Put Properties shall only use these addresses for technical and tracking purposes unless otherwise required by the law.

Log Files

Stay Put Properties captures industry standard information solely for the purposes of analysis. Information contained in log files is intended for internal use only and will not be disclosed to our Partners. The aggregate logged information is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Valuation Fees

In most cases, we require an external Stay Put Properties Valuation Report on your property. This is carried out externally by an independent panel valuer, who is qualified by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This forms part of the process required in order to make an offer to purchase your property.

You will receive a copy of this report when we make our offer, but it's solely to enable us to assess the property and forms part of the overall process we undergo to ascertain a value on your property in order to make our offer to purchase. It's based on a limited inspection and certain defects in the property won't necessarily be revealed. It's important that you don't just rely on this report when you're deciding whether or not to use the Stay Put Properties service. Please refer to our Valuation Fee scale for the price of the Valuation process required on your property.

A full Stay Put Properties Valuation is required by our underwriters and is a more detailed report often referred to as an Appraisal, Survey or Valuation. The external survey, provided by the a qualified Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) surveyor, forms part of this research process and provides information on the overall and assumed state of repair and condition of your property.

It gives information on some aspects of the property's condition and the surveyor's/valuer's opinion as to its market value. The underwriters will also undergo further research into your property and the local market conditions. Our external valuation/survey, does not inspect parts of the property which are covered, unexposed or inaccessible. Please note that this isn't a structural or building report.

Please also note that the cost of these reports are non-refundable once the reports have been instructed, and are payable before the application is submitted. A Valuation cannot be instructed until this fee is paid.

All calls to Stay Put Properties may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes. As part of our offer process, Stay Put Properties will assess every property individually using a fully qualified RICS Chartered Surveyor who will assess each property externally. This external survey report is used solely for the purposes of making our offer to you. We will also make further enquiries and carry out searches and research into each property and local marketplaces in order to make our offer. Stay Put Properties advise that any offer made will be lower than the current market value in some cases this could be considerably lower than the actual market value. Stay Put Properties reserve the right to withdraw any offer at any time. Our offer remains open for 28 days. Legal fees are only refunded if exchange takes place within 28 days of your acceptance of our offer. Please note in most cases Valuation Fees are non-refundable prior to completion of purchase. The fee is inclusive and no further charges will be incurred.
